Though there is not yet a cure, there are a number of resources and organizations available to assist you, offering support, understanding and hope.

The LUNGevity Foundation is an advocacy and awareness initiative that not only provides a caring community for those affected by lung cancer, but also works to improve the survival rate and quality of life for those afflicted.

The Cancer Hope Network is a non-profit organization matching cancer patients or family members with trained volunteers who have first-hand experience with a similar cancer. Patients receive free, confidential and personal support through a secure social network of cancer survivors.

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is an independent organization serving as a voice for asbestos victims. Its goal is to raise public awareness in an effort to prevent asbestos-related diseases and promote advocacy and community.

The National Mesothelioma Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting mesothelioma patients and their families. The NMF provides information and help for those undergoing treatment.
