Grant Boyd

Grant C. Boyd is an attorney with the O’Brien Law Firm, located in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Boyd focuses his practice on representing victims of violent crime, sexual abuse victims, wrongful death claims, and other personal injury cases. Mr. Boyd has an established reputation of advocating aggressively and strongly on behalf of those who suffered an injury, survived abuse, or lost a loved one due to the negligent, careless or unlawful acts of others.

Mr. Boyd’s primary focus is lawsuits on behalf of sexual assault victims and crime victims. He has a documented history of achieving successful outcomes for victims, including large settlements for his clients. Mr. Boyd is a recipient of the 2018 Missouri Lawyers Media Top 10 Settlements Award. Apart from civil suits on behalf of victims, he also represents crime victims on a pro bono basis in criminal cases and in order-of-protection matters. His work on behalf of victims was recognized in 2020 when Missouri Lawyers honored Mr. Boyd with the 2020 Legal Champion Award.

Mr. Boyd received his Bachelor of Arts in legal studies and psychology from Saint Louis University in 2010. He then attended Saint Louis University School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 2014. While pursuing his legal degree, Mr. Boyd was a selected to the Alpha Sigma Nu Honors Society. The recipient of several academic excellence awards, Mr. Boyd also received the Milton F. Napier Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, and he was one of the leading members of the trial advocacy competition team.

After graduating law school, Mr. Boyd received his license to practice from The Missouri Bar in 2014. Apart from Missouri, Mr. Boyd is admitted to a number of United States District Courts across the country. Having clerked for Sindel Noble during his time as a law student, Mr. Boyd joined Sindel Noble upon graduation, and he has proved highly effective as a trial lawyer and legal advocate. In 2016, St. Louis Business Journal named him to its list of Top 30 Under 30 professionals in the region. He has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Fully committed to his practice, Mr. Boyd is a member of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, as well as the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and National Crime Victim Bar Association. He is currently a council member on the Young Lawyers Council of the National Crime Victim Bar Association.

An avid hockey player, Mr. Boyd is active in youth hockey programs throughout his community and assists families in taking part in the sport. Mr. Boyd is also involved with supporting inner-city schools, including The BIOME School.
