Tom Stewart

With a vast amount of experience in assisting with nationwide consumer class action litigation, medical negligence litigation, business litigation and product liability, Thomas brings many years of exceptional experience as a special consultant to the O’Brien Law Firm.

Thomas L. Stewart continues his work at Saint Louis University School of Law as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Trial Advocacy program. Throughout his career at Saint Louis University, Thomas coached trial teams for competition, served as an adjunct professor and joined the faculties of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), the Missouri Attorney General and The Missouri Bar Trial Institute.

After being admitted to Missouri Bar in 1986 and the Illinois Bar in 1987, Thomas has received several awards including the 2007 Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys Outstanding Service Award and the 1997 Lon O. Hocker award for excellence in trial advocacy from the Missouri Bar Foundation. He has previously served as the President of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), as well as a member of the 21st Circuit Judicial Evaluation Committee.
