Jerry FitzGerald

Jerry FitzGerald

Managing Partner

Since joining O’Brien Law Firm in 2005, Jerry has dedicated his entire legal career to helping men, women, and families affected by asbestos disease. With many relatives having worked in the construction trades and as the son of a Local #1 Insulator, Jerry has firsthand knowledge of the damage asbestos exposure can cause. He works very closely with local unions and labor organizations throughout the Midwest supporting, educating, and representing their members. Jerry takes pride in the relationships he has established in labor and Jerry himself is a proud card-carrying union member of Heat & Frost Insulators Local #1.

Jerry plays an active role in managing the law firm while personally working up client cases. His efforts in all aspects of the case – from initially meeting with clients, investigating exposures, securing depositions, and negotiating settlements – have resulted in the recovery of millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.

Jerry graduated from St. Louis University High School in 1997. With degrees in political science and business, he graduated from St. Louis University with honors in 2001. Jerry obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2004. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. Jerry currently lives with his wife and children in St. Louis City.
